PAWS Casino Fundraiser
Our casino fundraiser is one of the most important fundraising opportunities for PAWS. This fundraiser raises approximately $80,000 for PAWS, or about $2,000 for every volunteer shift worked. These funds help PAWS provide resources and opportunities that enhance the student experience at Westbrook School.
We need volunteers to fill a variety of positions during our casino. No casino experience or specialized skills are required. All volunteers will receive direction and support from the casino advisor.
Volunteer Positions
- •General Manager — Works with the casino advisor in the cash cage and helps oversee the overall operation of the casino.
- •Banker — Works with the casino advisor in the cash cage and assists with cash handling and banking duties.
- •Cashier — Cashes out casino chips for attendees and works with the casino advisor in the cash cage.
- •Chip Runner — Runs chips to the casino tables as directed by the casino advisor.
- •Count Room Supervisor — Supervises the count room and works under the direction of the casino advisor.
- •Count Room Volunteer — Sorts and counts money under the direction of the count room supervisor and casino advisor.
